I'm a second-year Mechanical Engineering student at Western University
with hands-on experience in SolidWorks CAD, FEA simulation, UAV fabrication, and prototype
testing. I'm drawn to projects that solve real problems — from water access in remote
communities to designing systems that push physical limits.
Currently seeking engineering internship opportunities for 2025–2026.
Designed a high-force hybrid actuator system to simulate controlled human joint motion, targeting a 15–40 N·m torque range. Focused on pressure force modeling, stress optimization, and composite housing redesign.
Designed and physically built a three-stage water filtration system (polypropylene → activated carbon → ultrafiltration membrane) to provide potable water to communities in Georgina Island. Conducted turbidity, backwashing, and functional pressure tests.
Developed a programmable light therapy lamp for seasonal affective disorder (SAD), featuring 30/45/60-minute therapy modes with a potentiometer-controlled dimmer. Built a custom 3D printed diffuser and integrated a Python-based mobile app for remote control.
Active team member designing and optimizing aircraft components for the 2025 SAE Aero Design West competition. Responsible for iterative CAD refinements, structural FEA simulation runs, and supporting physical prototype fabrication.
Partnered with Trojan Technologies to conduct a Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) on a portable UV water disinfection system. Developed a 5-prompt AI validation methodology to expand and verify failure mode identification, then presented findings competitively.
CAD design in SolidWorks, FEA simulation, UAV prototype fabrication using foam-core and 3D printing, preparing for the SAE Aero Design West competition. Iterative design optimization across 25+ simulation cycles to improve structural integrity and aerodynamic performance.
Conducted a DFMEA on a portable UV water disinfection system and developed a novel 5-prompt AI validation methodology for expanding failure mode identification. Expanded entries from 11 to 21 and presented competitively, placing 1st among competing teams.
Demonstrated reliability in a fast-paced retail environment through inventory management and consistent customer service — all while maintaining a full Mechanical Engineering academic workload. Two-plus years of continuous employment.
Open to internship opportunities — let's connect.
